On the morning of August 8th, actor Lee Min Ho and SNSD’s YoonA took off for the States to film for their endorsement brand, ‘Eider‘, amidst strong gusty winds which threatened their airport fashion.
The two will be staying in L.A. for about a week to complete their shoot.
A representative from Lee Min Ho’s company revealed, “There might be additional filming, so they left on an open ticket. They’ll be locating to areas where they’re able to rock climb. Fans will be able to see a new image of the stars, so please look forward to it.”

Lee Min Ho reveals he dated a college student for 6 months.

Actor Lee Min Ho, who recently concluded his popular drama ‘City Hunter‘, shared a shocking confession about how he broke up with a college student last year.

In a recent interview with Daily Sports, he revealed, “After I concluded filming for ‘MBC’s ‘Personal Taste‘, I dated a woman who was a year younger than me and a student in college for six months.”
He elaborated, “After I finished shooting for ‘Personal Taste’, I had a lot of time. While I was eating one day, I saw a female college student. It had been a long time since I met a woman who was unrelated to the entertainment industry, which was nice. We didn’t tell my agency and started to date. We dated secretly for six months, but we broke up because of personality differences.”
Since he’s now wrapped up ‘City Hunter’, the reporter asked Lee Min Ho about what he planned to do with his free time.
Lee Min Ho replied, “I want to date. I ended a lot of relationships because of the excuse of not having enough time. Even though my close relationships with actors grew, I sometimes thought it would become an obstacle. Now, with whatever effort, I want to meet a new person. When I meet a good person, I want to hang out with her without letting anyone know“.
He also chose his ideal type to be Song Hye Kyo’s character in the drama, ‘Full House‘. Lee Min Ho explained, “She is mentally mature and also has a bright female style, which is my ideal type. Although I look at appearances, I am not the type to focus on it like other people. The feeling is important. 지난 두 달간 여성들의 마음을 울고 웃게 했던 케이블채널 tvN '로맨스가 필요해'(극본 정현정 연출 이창한)가 2일 마지막 방송을 앞두고 있다.

방영 전부터 가수 UN 출신 김정훈의 제대 복귀작, 명품배우 조여정의 첫 로맨틱 코미디 등으로 화제를 모은 '로맨스가 필요해'는 30대 여성들의 일과 사랑을 그리며 많은 사랑을 받았다. 케이블 드라마로서는 마의 벽이라 불리는 시청률 1%를 가뿐히 넘기며 월·화요일 밤 11시면 여성 시청자를 안방극장으로 끌어당겼다.

'로맨스가 필요해'는 연애의 어둡고 밝은 면을 모두 다뤘다. 실제 연애에서 드러나는 적나라한 면들을 가감 없이 모두 보여줬다. 단순히 수위의 문제가 아니다. 누구나 연애할 때 보여줄 수 있는 치졸하고 유치하고, 때로는 비겁한 그래서 더 솔직한 모습들을 있는 그대로 드러냈다는 점에서 '로맨스가 필요해'는 센 드라마였다.

선우인영(조여정 분)은 10년 차 연인 김성수(김정훈 분) 앞에서 애교로 방귀를 뀌고, 술 취해 찾아온 그의 갑작스런 스킨십을 스스럼없이 응한다. 김성수 집들이 선물로 커피메이커 기계를 고르며 자신의 통장 잔고를 떠올리고, 변심한 애인에게 매일 밤 찾아가 독설을 퍼붓는다. 좋아하지 않으면서도 질투심을 유발하고 복수를 위해 다른 남자 배성현(최진혁 분)을 만나고, 그러다 그를 정말 사랑하게 된다. 하지만 동시에 옛 연인에 대한 미움과 정을 떨쳐낼 수 없는, 정말 우리 주변에 있을 것만 같은 연애의 모습을 그린다.

순결에 집착하는 강현주(최송현 분)는 또 어떤가. 어릴 적 엄마의 거듭된 이혼으로 인해 성에 대한 잘못된 관념을 갖게 된 그는 혼전순결이 자신의 가치를 드높인다는 잘못된 믿음을 갖고 연애를 한다. 덕택에 관계를 통해 얻을 수 있는 진정한 행복을 얻지 못하며 형식미에 집착하며 늘 자신을 가두게 된다. 학벌도 능력도 부족하지만 진심으로 자신을 사랑하는 김덕수(김형민)를 만나 진짜 사랑에 눈뜨게 되는 그의 모습에는 극적인 서사가 완전히 배제돼 있다.

자유연애주의자 박서연(최여진 분)은 언뜻 보기에 현실보다 판타지에 가깝다. 완벽한 패션스타일과 당당함을 뽐내는 그에겐 남자에 대한 간절함이 없다. 원하면 만나고 싫으면 그만두는 속편한 연애다. 하지만 연애에 몇 차례 아파본 이라면 "아무도 사랑할 수 없을 것 같아 아무나 사랑하는 길을 선택했다"라는 그의 고백에 공감하지 않을 수 없다. 게다가 솔직한 게 좋다며 간통 사실을 순순히 시인하고, 출산을 앞둔 불륜 남성의 아내를 병원에 데려가며 "이제야 내가 뭘 잘못했는지 알겠다"라고 고백하는 박서연은 '불륜녀'에 대한 고정관념을 완전히 깨뜨리기까지 한다.

그간 지상파 드라마에서 보여줬던 로맨틱 코미디에는 신데렐라 스토리, 미화된 연애, 현실도 버리고 사랑만 좇는 비현실적인 모습, 그로 인한 해피엔딩이 주를 이뤘다. '로맨스가 필요해'는 지금도 수많은 여성들이 하고 있는, 지긋지긋하고 열 받지만 그래도 사랑하기에 할 수밖에 없는 '연애'의 참모습을 그렸다. 그래서 늘 닳고 닳은 연애 대신 '로맨스'가 필요한 여성들의 마음을 콕 집어냈다. 드라마 대신 현실을 택함으로써 한국 로맨틱코미디가 가졌던 한계를 조금이나마 극복한 셈이다.

이민호 ‘시티헌터’ 중국 광풍, 클릭 수만 5000만, 댓글도 5만건

[enews24 이진호 기자] 최근 케이블채널 tvN ‘코리아 갓 탤런트’를 통해 세계적인 관심을 받고 있는 최성봉이 화제다. 관심도의 지표인 유튜브 동영상 클릭 수가 1000만 건을 넘으며 이목이 쏠렸다.
하지만 이보다 5배가 넘는 엄청난 클릭 수로 화제를 모으는 또 다른 스타가 있다. 바로 SBS ‘시티헌터’의 주연 이민호다.

‘시티헌터’는 22일 현재 중국 유튜브 사이트 격인 유쿠에서 4908만 4685번이 넘는 엄청난 클릭 수를 기록하고 있다. 이는 17회 까지의 영상 클릭 수를 합산한 수치다.
클릭 수 뿐만 아니라 동영상에 달려있는 관련 댓글은 이미 4만 6000건을 넘어섰다.

이같은 클릭 수는 유쿠 단 하나의 사이트에만 한정된 수치다. 여타 사이트에서의 클릭 수를 모두 합하면 클릭 수가 2억을 넘어간다. 그야말로 엄청난 인기다.
중국에서의 폭발적인 반응에 현지 언론들은 ‘시티헌터’의 국내 시청률까지 관심을 보이고 있을 정도다.
이 때문에 이민호의 인기도 날이 갈수록 뜨거워지고 있다. 팬 사이트 격인 현지 포털 사이트 바이두(百度) 이민호 티에바에서는 하루에만 500건이 넘는 글이 올라오고 있다. ‘시티헌터’가 시작된 이후 올라온 글만 2만7000건 관련 클릭수도 100만이 넘어섰다.

그간 김희선, 이영애, 전지현, 송혜교 등 여자 톱스타들이 주로 주목받았던 중국 한류스타의 판도를 완전히 뒤바꿔 놓은 셈이다.
이 때문에 현지에서는 지난 2003년 폭발적인 인기를 누렸던 ‘대장금’을 뛰어넘는 것이 아니냐는 장밋빛 전망까지 나오고 있다.
‘시티헌터’가 종영 2회 만을 남겨둔 가운데 이민호와 드라마의 인기가 어디까지 계속될 지 관심이 쏠리고 있다.

Synopsis
Lee Shin is a university student majoring in modern music.
