 배우 이민호가 난데없이 불거진 성형의혹에 "절대 아니"라며 당혹스러움을 드러냈다.

이민호의 소속사 스타우스 엔터테인먼트 관계자는 25일 노컷뉴스에 "갑자기 성형의혹이 불거져 당황스럽다"면서 "절대 사실무근이다"고 성형의혹을 강하게 부인했다.
이 같은 성형설은 4년 전 한 성형외과에서 찍은 사진이 온라인 상에 퍼지면서 불거졌다. 사진 속 이민호는 편안한 차림에 지금보다 앳된 얼굴을 하고 있으며, 남자의사 두 명과 함께 사진을 찍었다. 이 사진은 성형외과 홈페이지에 노출되었으며 온라인을 통해 퍼져나갔다.

이에 소속사 측은 "2007년 당시 피부과에서 진료를 받았던 것이다. 성형외과와 피부과가 같이 붙어있는 곳이었고, 병원 원장과 친분이 있어 사진을 찍은 것 뿐이다"고 해명했다.

한편, 최근 '시티헌터'에 출연해 열연을 펼친 이민호는 함께 출연했던 상대배우 박민영과 교제 중인 사실을 인정해 화제를 모으고 있다.

Actor Lee Min Ho, who recently concluded his popular drama ‘City Hunter‘, shared a shocking confession about how he broke up with a college student last year.

In a recent interview with Daily Sports, he revealed, “After I concluded filming for ‘MBC’s ‘Personal Taste‘, I dated a woman who was a year younger than me and a student in college for six months.”
He elaborated, “After I finished shooting for ‘Personal Taste’, I had a lot of time. While I was eating one day, I saw a female college student. 지난 두 달간 여성들의 마음을 울고 웃게 했던 케이블채널 tvN '로맨스가 필요해'(극본 정현정 연출 이창한)가 2일 마지막 방송을 앞두고 있다.

방영 전부터 가수 UN 출신 김정훈의 제대 복귀작, 명품배우 조여정의 첫 로맨틱 코미디 등으로 화제를 모은 '로맨스가 필요해'는 30대 여성들의 일과 사랑을 그리며 많은 사랑을 받았다. 케이블 드라마로서는 마의 벽이라 불리는 시청률 1%를 가뿐히 넘기며 월·화요일 밤 11시면 여성 시청자를 안방극장으로 끌어당겼다.

'로맨스가 필요해'는 연애의 어둡고 밝은 면을 모두 다뤘다. 실제 연애에서 드러나는 적나라한 면들을 가감 없이 모두 보여줬다. 단순히 수위의 문제가 아니다. 누구나 연애할 때 보여줄 수 있는 치졸하고 유치하고, 때로는 비겁한 그래서 더 솔직한 모습들을 있는 그대로 드러냈다는 점에서 '로맨스가 필요해'는 센 드라마였다.

순결에 집착하는 강현주(최송현 분)는 또 어떤가. 어릴 적 엄마의 거듭된 이혼으로 인해 성에 대한 잘못된 관념을 갖게 된 그는 혼전순결이 자신의 가치를 드높인다는 잘못된 믿음을 갖고 연애를 한다. 덕택에 관계를 통해 얻을 수 있는 진정한 행복을 얻지 못하며 형식미에 집착하며 늘 자신을 가두게 된다. 학벌도 능력도 부족하지만 진심으로 자신을 사랑하는 김덕수(김형민)를 만나 진짜 사랑에 눈뜨게 되는 그의 모습에는 극적인 서사가 완전히 배제돼 있다.

자유연애주의자 박서연(최여진 분)은 언뜻 보기에 현실보다 판타지에 가깝다. 완벽한 패션스타일과 당당함을 뽐내는 그에겐 남자에 대한 간절함이 없다. 원하면 만나고 싫으면 그만두는 속편한 연애다. 하지만 연애에 몇 차례 아파본 이라면 "아무도 사랑할 수 없을 것 같아 아무나 사랑하는 길을 선택했다"라는 그의 고백에 공감하지 않을 수 없다. 게다가 솔직한 게 좋다며 간통 사실을 순순히 시인하고, 출산을 앞둔 불륜 남성의 아내를 병원에 데려가며 "이제야 내가 뭘 잘못했는지 알겠다"라고 고백하는 박서연은 '불륜녀'에 대한 고정관념을 완전히 깨뜨리기까지 한다.

그간 지상파 드라마에서 보여줬던 로맨틱 코미디에는 신데렐라 스토리, 미화된 연애, 현실도 버리고 사랑만 좇는 비현실적인 모습, 그로 인한 해피엔딩이 주를 이뤘다. '로맨스가 필요해'는 지금도 수많은 여성들이 하고 있는, 지긋지긋하고 열 받지만 그래도 사랑하기에 할 수밖에 없는 '연애'의 참모습을 그렸다. 그래서 늘 닳고 닳은 연애 대신 '로맨스'가 필요한 여성들의 마음을 콕 집어냈다. 드라마 대신 현실을 택함으로써 한국 로맨틱코미디가 가졌던 한계를 조금이나마 극복한 셈이다.
