Capture Four Chinese Japanese citizens

Chinese media said four Japanese citizens have been arrested in China and is being investigated for entering the military zone without permits, on Friday (24 / 9). Japanese construction companies, Fujita Corp., send them to China for a project to take back to World War II weapons left in China.

The company heard the news on Tuesday the arrest of four employees. Japanese foreign ministry said that China had informed them about the arrest, but they had no information about why the four were detained.

The arrest was allegedly associated with the warming of relations between the two countries over Japan's detention of Chinese boat captain who was captured in waters off the disputed islands between the two countries. Fishing boat captain was arrested on 8 September in the Diaoyu Islands in the East China Sea. The Japanese government has extended his detention until 29 September. The captain has been accused of blocking the Japanese public officials.

Beijing has made threats against Tokyo's diplomatic about the demands the release of the captain. China has suspended talks with Japan about the increase in civil aviation and expand aviation rights between the two countries. State officials in both parties also had canceled the visit both sides.

Beijing and Tokyo each claim over Diaoyu Islands and surrounding waters. Conflicts over territorial waters has not been solved. Chinese Foreign Ministry said that Japan had damaged bilateral relations. While Tokyo urged Beijing to continue calmly and carefully to avoid further damage.
